Our kimonos are of genuine Japanese origin. They are designed and made in the ancient Japanese city of Kyoto, where a small family business has been using its own team of artists to create fresh and original kimono and yukata designs for the last 40 years. The highest standard of workmanship is ensured by a combination of the latest technology and working practices for the employees that are fully in line with other developed countries.

We also offer hand-painted silk kimonos, made from the finest Chinese mulberry silk and designed by Silk Cocoon, a British brand supplying the highest quality silk nightwear and lingerie. Their exclusive designs are renowned for sensual elegance and exquisite workmanship.

Kimono Styles and Sizes

We offer a wide range of beautiful Japanese kimonos and yukata for men and women, in two styles: a full-length Classic Kimono and a mid-length Short Kimono.

Our cotton kimonos, silk kimonos and polysatin kimonos are comfortable, loose-fitting robes that can be worn all year round. Kimonos are wraps and therefore very adaptable to a variety of body shapes and sizes.

Please note the following differences between the Classic and Short styles:

* The Classic Kimono is full-length with traditional, three-quarter length drop sleeves. It has no pockets or belt loops, allowing the matching belt to be tied at the most convenient position.

* The Short Kimono is mid-length with straight, three-quarter length sleeves and two patch pockets (ladies’ short cotton kimonos only have one pocket). It has no belt loops, allowing the matching belt to be tied at the most convenient position.
